Do I have to answer every question?

If your library is not participating in the grant program, which questions you answer is up to you. How do I contact survey support?

The Information Policy and Access Center is provides survey support. They can be reached via phone (301-405-9445) or email (ipac.umd[at]gmail.com).

The window with the survey questions closed suddenly/disappeared, and while I keep hitting the "resume" or "completed" buttons in the instructions screen, I can't get back to the questions. What should I do?

The window that contains the survey questions is smaller than the "dashboard" window - or the window with the instructions and the "start" and "resume" buttons. If during the survey, you accidentally click outside of this smaller question window, perhaps when you are trying to scroll down to read the glossary items, the larger instructions screen window will come to the front, blocking the smaller questions window from view. All you have to do to find the questions window again is minimize that larger window, or move it to the side or down, and then click on the hidden questions window to bring it back to the front. You could also close all your open Internet browser windows, and then open up a fresh window to return to the log-in screen for the survey. Any responses you provide are always saved once you hit the "next" button after each question, so you will not lose your responses. Please note: clicking the "resume" button over and over will not bring the questions window back to the front of the screen. If you have any trouble finding the questions window, please contact survey support via phone (301-405-9445) or email (ipac.umd[at]gmail.com).
